The hotel was in a great location and the rooms adequate for the amount of time spent in them.

I found the room a little basic for the price and we had an internal view of an office block which was disappointing as I was hoping for a view of the street (51st street/5th avenue) as shown in the promotional pictures (I should have requested this prior to arrival).

All the over-large pillows were soft - would have preferred one soft and one firm. We prefer a small fridge in the room. The high-end coffee in the living room was nice and we used it, but I would have preferred to pay less (facility fee) and have a fridge instead.

Good hotel in a great location
8.0The location is unbeatable. In the heart of Manhattan, walking distance from many attractions, as well as many options for public transport. The staff is nice and discreet. The laundry room and water/coffee available are a big plus.
The furniture is very old which makes the room dated; also the walls are in desperate need of fresh paint. Still, despite this, the cleaning staff does a great job. The room at the 4th floor was very loud, had to use earplugs.
