Terms of Service

The service

Travelanta is operated by Travelanta, Inc., a Delaware corporation.

Travelanta is a hotel decision and booking service. You describe a stay; we recommend one hotel, with the room, the rate, the total and the reasons, and you can book it without leaving Travelanta. A recommendation is our judgement, not a guarantee. Prices, availability and conditions come from the hotel and from our booking partner, and they can change until your booking is confirmed.

Your account

You're responsible for activity under your account. Free accounts can save up to 10 trips; Pro removes that limit. You can stop using Travelanta at any time.

Subscriptions

Pro is billed through Stripe at $19/month or $149/year and renews automatically until cancelled. Cancel any time from your profile; you keep Pro access through the end of the period you paid for.

Bookings

When you book a hotel on Travelanta, the reservation is made with the hotel through our booking partner, LiteAPI, a service of Nuitée. The room, the rate, the total and the cancellation terms are shown before you pay. The total is confirmed again immediately before payment. If it has changed, you see the new total and nothing is booked unless you accept it.

Each booking has a Travelanta reference, which begins with TRV. Our booking partner's reference and, when the hotel issues one, the hotel's confirmation number are recorded separately. Quote the Travelanta reference when you contact us. The hotel provides the stay itself, under its own house rules.

Payment

You pay in our booking partner's secure payment form, shown inside Travelanta. LiteAPI takes the payment as the merchant for the stay. Travelanta does not receive or store your card details. Taxes or fees that the hotel collects at the property are listed separately before you pay.

Cancellations and refunds

The cancellation terms of your rate are shown before you pay and stay with your booking in My Trips. Where the rate allows free cancellation, you can cancel in My Trips until the deadline shown there. Refunds and any cancellation fee follow the terms of the rate and are processed by our booking partner to the card you paid with. A non-refundable rate is not refunded if you cancel.
