Great location for public transportation, but with some tradeoffs
8.0Location is on the edge of Chelsea and Koreatown/Empire State Building. 5 minutes away from Penn Station and other major subway hubs. Daily housekeeping. Always available via both texts and calls. Room has a fridge, a microwave, a coffee machine, iron board, closet, lots of towels.
The bathroom: The showerhead is not detachable or moveable, making it very hard to clean the bathroom floor, so the bathroom quickly grows a mildew smell overnight. And although it is a standard size in Manhattan, the bathroom door opens small enough to almost touch the toilet seat, so it requires a specific choreograp…

A very pleasant stay!
9.0Jonathan at the front desk was very kind and very helpful. The location was perfect especially if you're going to a show at Madison Square Garden. The beds were very comfortable, and the rooftop terrace was great! We had an overall amazing time. Thank you Cambria Hotel!
It's really not a big deal but the cleaning crew brought fresh towels to our room but forgot to remove the dirty towels.

Handy place to stay

Would have preferred a 2nd floor room (our "ocean view" was not so special because the 1st floor was on the parking lot- I would not advertise 1st floor as "Ocean view".
